Automobile production in China totaled 6.26 million units in the first quarter of 2014, up 10.8 percent year on year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on April 16.
In March, China made 2.363 million motor vehicles, up 7.3 percent year on year, said the NBS.
As for segmented areas, sedan output in Q1 amounted to 3.29 million units, a jump of 6.8 percent year on year. The monthly sedan output in March gained 4.4 percent year on year to 1.207 million units.
