China's motorcycle production and sales amounted to 1.84 million units and 1.82 million units respectively in April of 2014, down 6.3 percent and 7.7 percent, year on year, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
The range of drop shrank by 2.9 percentage points and 2.2 percentage points from that in March.
Total output and sales of motorcycles in the first four months amounted to 6.7818 million units and 6.8265 million units in the first four months of 2014, down 7.6 percent and 9 percent, respectively, compared with the corresponding period of last year.
