Chinese automakers saw a month on month gain of 1.0 percent in inventories in June, according to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
At the end of June, China's auto inventories were 995,800 units, said the CAAM.
As of the end of June, the passenger vehicle inventory of Chinese automakers stood at 778,800 units, a rise of 4.7 percent from 744,000 units at the beginning of the month. The inventory of commercial vehicles reached 217,000 units, down 10.4 percent from 242,300 units at the beginning of June.
