How much would you spend on new tyres over the course of your car’s life? According to recent statistics, the average person spends roughly €1500 on new tyres for their car, but thanks to a new compound created by a group of German scientists – so you know it’s bloody efficient – you will never have to buy a new pair of shoes for your motor.
So you’re probably wondering how does it work? Well, it’s simple really. All passenger, light truck, and medium commercial tyres have tread wear indicator bars moulded into the tread. These bars are located at the bottoms of the tread grooves in several locations around the tyre. When the tyre is worn to the point where any of them become visibly flush with the adjacent tread ribs, it is time to replace the tyre… or at least that’s what you had to do before now.
Instead of forking over a ridiculous amount of dosh for a set of new or almost new tyres you can just spray on TreadGain and leave it on over night, or for at least 8 hours.
Here’s the boring sciency bit… The German designed compound contains L-METHIONINE, BIOTINE AND NIACIN, new compounds that bind to depleted styrene-butadiene copolymer molecules to form strong new tread grooves on the surface area… Essentially regrowing the rubber threads on your tyre.
