The RSS3 rubber futures contract for October delivery traded on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) expired on Thursday at JPY244.5/kg, with 67 lots delivered.
The expiry price was JPY2.9 higher from the settlement of the previous trading day and JPY4 higher from the expiry price of the September contract.
The low volume delivered stays in line with the low inventories inJapanat present.
