Rubber futures traded on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) ended slightly higher in a choppy session on Monday (October 8, 2012), the first trading day followingChina’s week-long holiday.
The most actively traded contract for January 2013 delivery ended at 24,635 yuan/metric ton, up 90 yuan or 0.37%.
Chinais to release some of its macroeconomic data for September later this week, which might give fresh cues for whether the country is to further ease monetary policies or not, said a senor researcher with Everbright Futures.
