Asian Rubber Futures End Mostly Lower

Rubber futures across Asia ended mostly down Tuesday as broad-based weakness in other commodities in Asia weighed on the market.

Crude-oil prices headed south on the prospect of more supply from Nigeria and Libya returning online, which would slow down the pace of a rebalance in a well-supplied market.

Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 0.7%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropped 1% and South Korea's Kospi declined 0.3%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index ended down 1.5%.
