Statistics from China’s General Administration of Customs showed thatChinaimported 90,900 units of passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles(only hundreds imported) in April, year-on-year rising by 24.6%. Amongst,Chinaimported 90,900 units of passenger vehicles, yearly declining 27.7%, compared to the same period of 2014.
Meanwhile,Chinaimported 348,900 units of vehicles during January to April, sliding down 20.1% compared to the same period of 2014, and imported 347,000 units of passenger vehicles, yearly down by 20%.
At the same time, sales of imported models inChinaalso jumped off 21.3% in April to 74,500 units. In the first three months, sales respectively decreased 20.8% in January, 16.6% in February and 21% in March.
Divided by passenger vehicles,Chinaimported 29,000 units of cars, 57,600 units of SUV and 4,300 units of MPV in April, respectively taking 31.9%, 63.4% and 4.7% of Chinese imported vehicle market.
The top three imported brands are BMW, Benz and Jeep.
