US Department of Commerce to Raise Anti-Dumping Tariff on OTR Tires from China

U.S. Department of Commerce released an announcement on July 22 on Federal Register that it decided to revise the anti-dumping tariff imposed on off-the-road tires imported from China made in 2008 according to the result of the lawsuit.

The tariff on mandatory respondent Hebei Xingmao Tire Co., Ltd. was increased from 29.93% to 31.79%; that on mandatory respondent Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co., Ltd. from 8.44% to 10.08%; and the average rate on companies holding separate rates from 12.91% to 13.92%.

As new rates had been given to Hebei Xingmao Tire and Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International in the retrial afterwards, their rates wouldn’t be revised any more.

The new rates of anti-dumping tariff traced back to March 23, 2015, and are applicable to 19 OTR tire exporters in China as follow:
