China will levy conventional tariff on certain products imported from 26 countries or regions from January 1 of 2018.
The tariff adjustment affects the import of quite many kinds of tires. The import tax for tires from the ASEAN, Iceland, Georgia, Costa Rica and New Zealand will see the biggest dicount. Some tire products from these countries will even apply to zero tariff.
Also, tires from South Korea and Parkistan will apply to the conventional tariff, which is lower than the most favorite nation tariff.
