LMC International has released the predicted production and sales figures of passenger cars and commercial vehicles for 2015.
With regard to global tire consumption, North America, Europe and East Asia were the top three consumer markets of tires and the tire sales were 22%, 23% and 18% in the three markets, respectively.
In view of tire production, the primary producers were Asia (East Asia and Southeast Asia), Europe and North America with market shares of 55% (30% from China), 19% and 13%, respectively.
