The latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs show that in December 2015, China exported 40.44 million new pneumatic rubber tires, up 0.3% slightly year on year or 25.5% from the previous month.
In January-December, 2015, China exported 445 million new pneumatic rubber tires, down 6.6% from the same period of 2014.
Last December, China's tire exports to major destinations grew month on month in general. The exports to the U.S. were up 0.5% on a yearly basis or 21.3% on a monthly basis.
But on a yearly basis, China's tire exports to the U.S. dropped one fourth in 2015.
China's tire companies had accelerated international market development and the tire exports grew year by year before 2014.
However, beaten by anti-dumping and anti-subsidy policies by the U.S. and other countries against tires from China since 2014, China's tire exports decreased considerably and some tire producers even gave up the U.S. market.
Statistics released by the Tire Division of China Rubber Industry Association show that from 2011 to February 2016, a total of 21 trade frictions concerning tires made in China occurred between foreign countries and China.
The major auto tire products exported from China include truck tires, light truck tires, passenger car tires and engineering tires.
