The 15th Global Rubber Conference will be held in Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province, from Dec. 12 to 14, according to a press conference Sunday.
Around 700 guests will attend the conference, including officials, leaders of rubber enterprises, experts and scholars from 25 major rubber producing countries worldwide.
The conference will provide high-end platforms for discussions on key factors and development strategies of the international markets of natural rubber and rubber products.
Rubber is a major economic crop of Hainan, with output hitting about 360,000 tonnes in 2018, accounting for 42 percent of the country's total, official data showed.
