The organizers of the China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) have moved the event to Aug. 16-18, 2021. It was originally scheduled for Aug. 17-19, 2020.
The show will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.
"The postponement comes in response to the Covid-19 pandemic," say CITEXPO officials.
The event hosts visitors from over 120 countries.
"Current containment measures restrict mass gathering events and movement across international borders meant potentially thousands of stakeholders are limited in their ability to plan ahead and attend the show at its original dates in August.
"Our first priority is to the health and well-being of our exhibitors and visitors. We’re therefore taking the sensible precautionary response by carefully taking the advice of the relevant local and global authorities."
