On March 4, CRIA's Rubber Chem Commission released that its 47 member companies produced 1,172,000 tons of rubber acid in 2018, yearly increasing 2.8%.
Amongst, there were 357,000 tons of rubber accelerator produced in 2018, yearly increasing 7.2%. The commission said that with more and more rubber chem companies satisfied with national environment-protection standard, rubber accelerator production was further released in 2018.
There were 365000 tons of Rubber antioxidant produced in 2018, slightly declining 1.1%. Amongst, 6PPD and TMQ were produced 317,000 tons in all, taking 86.7% of total rubber antioxidant production, yearly increasing 3.7% compared to the same period of 2017.
Processing aid production yearly increased 3.1% to 231,000 tons; vulcanizer and peroxide were produced 1,2000 tons, within 93000 tons of insoluble sulfur yearly up 27.6%; others included 99000 tons of special adjuvant and 30000 tons of polymer bound pre-dispered rubber chemicals.
The commission predicted that there would be 1,220,000 tons of rubber acid production in 2019, yearly rasing 4%.
