India Imposes Anti-dumping Tax on Tire Curing Presses from China

The Central Board of Excise and Customs of India published an announcement on March 29, saying it will continue imposing anti-dumping tax on tire curing presses from China in the coming five years with 15% tax rate, effective immediately.

The Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties of Indias Ministry of Commerce and Industry published on December 28, 2015 the disclosure of information pre final hearing over the tire curing presses anti-dumping probe produced by or imported from China.

During the process, the investigator continued considering China as non-market economy and calculated the value of investigated products according to actual prices of similar products in Indian market. Finally, they decided that the dumping margin of investigated products from China to Indian market at 10%-20% and the injury was 10%-20%.

India initiated the sunset review on January 7, the period of review investigation was from October 2013 to September 2014, and the period of injury investigation was from January 2011 to September 2014.
