India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced Jan. 2 to launch anti-dumping probe against fluoroelastomers originated or imported from China.
Indian enterprise Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd. submitted the application for anti-dumping probe.
The case involves products under Indian Custom Duty of HS 3904.
The investigating period is 12 months from Jul. 1, 2016 to Jun. 30, 2017, while the industrial injury investigation will trace back to 2014.
Fluoroelastomers are widely used in the aviation, aerospace, automobile, petroleum, and home appliance sectors.
