NEW YORK,Dec.20 - A federal court Monday stopped the U.S. from imposing emergency anti-subsidy tariffs on imports from China, the Financial Times newspaper reported Monday on its website.
The decision would affect several current cases and possibly force Congress to legislate to permit such actions in the future, the report said.
The federal circuit court said the U.S. couldn't use so-called "countervailing duties" against imports from designated "non-market economies" such as China, the FT reported. Enditem
