Global natural rubber output is expected to reach 10.86 million tons this year, an increase of 5% from 2011, according to the latest report by Association of Natural Rubber Production Countries (ANRPC).
The renewed estimates were slightly higher than the association made in August, when the ANRPC had estimated 2012 global output at 10.83 million tons, a 4.7% increase over a year earlier.
Member countries of the ANRPC account for more than 90% of global natural rubber production.
