China’s natural rubber imports reached 170,000 metric tons in July, a surge of 30.8 percent year on year, according to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Friday.
The figure represented a 6.25 percent increase from the preceding month.
During January - July, China's natural rubber imports totaled 1.16 million tons, soaring 15.4 percent year on year.
China is the world’s largest rubber consumer.
