China's natural rubber imports rose 5.2% on year in August to reach 210,542 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.
The figure represented a 21% surge from the preceding month.
China imported 1.37 million metric tons of natural rubber in the first eight months, up 13.7% compared with a year earlier.
China is the world's biggest importer of natural rubber.
