Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. posted big surge in its net profits for the third quarter of this year, boosted by the strong performance of its North American segment.
Cooper reported earnings of 74.1 million US dollars, up from 17.3 million US dollars logged in a year earlier. The company’s revenue grew 4.5% to 1.1 billion US dollars.
Sales generated from the company's North American segment rose 7.4% year on year.
