Established in 2002 and with the backing of the highly-regarded Mesnac Co. Ltd., China's Sailun Tyre reports that it is gaining a "fast-growing reputation" for its radial truck tire range.
According to the company, its development has been fueled by quality standards enhanced by the research, design and technical testing facilities occupied by more than 300 technical Sailun engineers and staff in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone in Qingdao.
With a current manufacturing facility covering an area of over 400,000 square meters and with a second manufacturing facility in Vietnam due to come online in 2013, there is arguably the potential and certainly the capacity for growth.
The current distribution strategy includes the appointment of key distribution partners – each of whom have regional responsibilities to expand and develop the Sailun truck tire brand within their local region.
Currently, the truck tire range covers applications including: dump trucks, concrete mixers, pick up and delivery trucks, low platform trailers, tractor trailers, long distance, RVs, inter and intrastate buses.
