On Sep. 26, workers in Shandong Vheal Group in Laoling, Shandong province, was producing carbon nanotube green tires.
This year, the company accelerated its pace in technology upgrade and invested a total of 20 million yuan in buying 10 sets of advanced equipment.
In the first eight months of this year, the company’s output value totaled 400 million yuan, up nearly two folds from the same period of last year, and its products have been exported to more than 160 countries and regions across the world.
In the same time, the company has cooperated with Malaysia-based GIIB in introducingin carbon nanotube materials for tire production, making it the first Chinese company producing tires with carbon nanotube.
Established in 2002, Shandong Vheal is a professional auto tire producers. In 2009, the company invested 1 billion yuan in constructing a high-class all steel heavy-duty radial tire project with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tires.
In addition, the company spent a fortune and equipped itself with China’s first“automatic tire-shaping-vulcanizing interactive system” and realized programmed and automatic control during the process of tire manufacturing.
It has also applied RFID technology in tire production.
