Back in the middle of November, Sentury Tire launched its first run-flat tyre under the Landsail brand name. Now the Landsail 255/55 R18 109V all-season run flat tyre ha been developed and tested, Sentury has taken it to the market and says: “This new product is the evidence of Sentury’s strength of innovation” and is a justification of the firm’s ‘“Top Ranked Product is Made in China” advocacy’.
Interestingly, Sentury also links increased take-up of all-season tyres with global warming: “The climate of the world is getting warmer, winter temperature are not as low as the past, and snow is less than before. The traditional winter tyre does not fit the new environment anymore because of the slippery road surface with ice. The most outstanding feature of all-season tyre is the grip ability and slippery resistability. There is no need to switch tyres to adapt to the different weather, especially for the current climate, snow is less and less.”
