Wuhan Aulice Tyre has filed for a recalling plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine as required by the Management Rules on Recalling of Flawed Automotive Products.
The company decided to recall 2,685 K-speed bias light truck tires produced between February 2014 and October 2014, the specifications were 7.507.50-16LT-12PR 120/116K, 7.00-16LT-12PR 115/110K, and the tire numbers were from 140201C/D to 141015C/D.
The speed rating of the tires to be recalled was supposed to be E (70Km/h), but they were mistakenly marked as K (110Km/h).
When a driver drives over the speed limit, overheated tire will lead to security risks such as sidewall bulge and delamination. The tire producer said it will replace the marks for all recalled tires for free to remove the hidden peril.
