Inner Mongolian Coke and Chemical New Materials Institute has recently launched production of a special carbon black project, whihc is designed with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons.
The project is expected to reap sales revenues of 700 million yuan and geneate pre-tax profits of 150 million yuan a year.
The ordinary carbon black industry faces severe surplus in both the domestic and overseas markets. Against such a background, Inner Mongolian Coke and Chemical New Materials Institute brought in high-level talents and technologies to carry out R&D on special carbon black.
The project, with a total investment of some 189.78 million yuan, started construction from March 2017.
Inner Mongolian Coke and Chemical New Materials Institute is the wholy-owned subsidiary of Wuhai Black Cat Carbon Black Company Limited. The latter is controlled by Jiangxi Black Cat Carbon Black.
