The second-phase construction of Shandong Yongfeng Tire’s 6-million-set semi-steel tire production line is scheduled to start pilot production at the end of this year.
The project is located in the Binhe project area, Yishui, Shandong province, with a planned area of 1,556.2 mu.
The first-phase construction of the project had an investment of 4.8 billion yuan and covered an area of 927.3 mu, with an annual capacity of 12 million sets of semi-steel radial tires and 2 million sets of all-steel heavy-duty radial tires. The first-phase project has come on stream.
With a planned investment of 3.2 billion yuan, the second-phase project will take an area of 628.9 mu, with an annual capacity of 12 million sets of semi-steel tires and 2 million sets of all-steel heavy-duty tires.
The annual capacity of the entire project will be 24 million sets of semi-steel tires and 4 million sets of all-steel heavy-duty tires.
