The ZC Rubber factory in Thailand is gaining a new line for the production of industrial tyres. The Chinese manufacturer shares that skid steer, telehandler, backhoe and pneumatic cross-ply forklift tyres will join the plant’s production portfolio when the new line enters operation next month.
According to Richard Li, marketing director at ZC Rubber, market research shows that a rising demand for industrial tyres in Southeast Asia, and ZC Rubber is therefore focusing on industrial products in order to meet customer requirements. “Furthermore, the advanced equipment in Thailand factory can result in a better quality for the products,” Li adds.
Future plans for ZC Rubber Thailand include an extension of production to cover radial OTR tyres and port tyres “ZC Thailand will help further improve the company competitiveness on the market, by extension, can expand market share in the Southeast Asian regions, even the global market,” comments Li.
The 570,000-square metre ZC Rubber Thailand factory entered production in 2015 with a first-phase manufacturing capacity of 5 million passenger and light commercial vehicle tyres a year.
