Linglong Tire intends to develop aircraft tire business, the company has told investors.
Linglong Tire said it already carried out R&D in technologies of aircraft tire production, while whether it can realize the actual production remains uncertain.
Currently, Qingdao Sentury Tire is the only Chinese manufacturer granted the qualification for producing and selling aircraft tires in China.
Michelin, Bridgestone and Goodyear are the most common tire brands for aircrafts around the world.
The China-built aircraft C919, which is set to carry out its maiden flight on Friday, is installed with Michelin Air X radial tires.
It is expected there would be a great demand for aircraft tires in China in the coming years.
