Chinese company Shandong Linglong expects to complete the first phase of the construction of a tyre factory in Zrenjanin, in northern Serbia, by November 30, the city government said.
The second stage will be completed by September 1 next year, the Zrenjanin city government said in a statement.

In the first phase, three entrance gates, two substations and a network of power lines are being built, while in the second phase, a four-storey office and R&D building, hydrant network stations, as well as 608 parking lots will be constructed.
The construction works are being carried out by China Energy Engineering Group (CEEC) and China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) which have hired a number of Serbian subcontractors, including Belgrade-based company Masinoprojekt Kopring as a designer of the factory, the city government said.
Shandong Linglong started the construction works in April 2019. The Chinese company plans to invest 800 million euro ($945 million) in the construction of the factory, which will have 1,200 employees and will produce 13 million tyres per year.
